Boy Shot in Elbow by Stray Bullet on Ralph Ave.

The detective squad is still investigating

Police are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old Bed-Stuy student who was injured in his right elbow by a stray bullet Saturday evening while walking along Ralph Avenue near Macon Street.

According to 81st Precinct police, the boy was walking was walking in front of 160 Ralph Avenue when he heard shots ring out and felt pain in his right shoulder. His cousin drove him to Interfaith Hospital, where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Police conducted a canvas of the area and recovered bullet shells in front of the location.

The detective squad is still investigating.
