Arrest Made in Train Platform Assault

Ditmas Park man arrested after attack at Ralph Avenue subway station.

Police made an arrest early Tuesday morning in the assault of a man on a Brooklyn subway platform.

Leon Sims, a 25-year-old Ditmas Park man, was arrested and charged with two counts of felony assault after allegedly attacking a man on the train platform at Ralph Avenue in Bed-Stuy. 

He allegedly hit his victim multiple times in the head with a pipe. 

After the Sept. 22 attack, Sims fled the scene, leaving his victim on the tracks.
