Arrest Made in Suspicious Bed-Stuy Fire

Corrections Officer charged with arson.

Police arrested a Corrections Officer in connection to a suspicious fire on Chauncey Street Thursday. 

Yvette Randolph, 43, was arrested by police late Thursday night, after an investigation by the NYPD Arson and Explosion squad. 

The fire, which raged in a three-story apartment building early Thursday morning, hurt 12 people, police said, four critically. 

All of the injured were taken to various Brooklyn area hospitals.

Randolph is charged with one count of arson.
