81st Pct. Police Bulletin: Shooting and Duct Tape

Suspect being sought for shooting and robbing a 44-year-old Brooklyn man

Police from the 81st Precinct are asking the public's assistance in finding the gun-wielding suspect who left a 44-year-old man shot in the neck after an attempt to tie the victim in duct tape went awry.

George Sterling, 29, allegedly walked into the victim's home on Monday at 10:30 p.m. with his gun drawn, quickly pounced and began to tie up the man.

Before being bound by the duct tape, the victim (whose name and address are being withheld) was able to wrestle free and fight off Sterling. During the struggle, Sterling's gun fired and the 44-year-old was shot in the neck, cops said.
