108 Firearms Turned in at Gun Buy-Back in Brooklyn

61 revolvers were surrendered on Saturday at the Bedford Central Presbyterian Church

At the NYPD's first gun buyback of the year in Brooklyn on Saturday, 108 firearms were turned in by the public. 

Since its inception in July 2008 the NYPD/Clergy Gun Buy-Back program has resulted in more than 7,600 weapons being removed from streets.

To follow is a complete breakdown of the firearms that were surrendered Saturday:

Revolvers--61

Semi-automatics--29

Rifles--3

Shotguns--2

Others--13

Seven of the 108 firearms surrendered Saturday at the Bedford Central Presbyterian Church were loaded.
