Register your family for 18 fun-filled weeks of folkloric drumming, stories and related science! The first class of each 6-week unit is dedicated to making your own culturally-specific percussion instruments with materials that are as true to the folkloric music as possible. Then play, play, play every week as you drum with renowned percussionists. Learn the songs, rhythms and dances of Native America, Cuba and West Africa.
You may also choose to register for one 6-week unit – on Native America, Cuba or West Africa – at the rate of $150, plus a 10% discount for museum members.
