81st Precinct Community Council Seeks Donations for Annual Senior Citizens Thanksgiving Dinner

Help the 81st Precinct Community Council serve Thanksgiving Dinner to seniors this November.

Each year, members of the 81st Precinct Community Council get together to make sure their seniors are well-fed on one of the most important celebrations of the year.

Block associations and individuals will prepare ham, turkey, peas & rice, baked macaroni, candied yams, collard greens, string beans, and desserts, which are then served at a nearby church and also delivered to shut-ins on Tuesday, November 20th.

As this is a community effort, the 81st Precinct Community Council is calling on all of us to donate our time and effort to make this day a success.

If you would like to donate food (cooked and uncooked), your time, or make a financial contribution, please download, complete, and return the donatin form to the 81st Precinct, office of Community Affairs, at Ralph Avenue at Quincy Street, or at the next Community Council meeting on Tuesday, October 9th at 7pm at 794 Monroe (PS 309), between Ralph and Patchen Avenue.
