APPLY NOW: Summer Youth Police Academy at Boys & Girls HS

The NYPD's Summer Youth Academy at Boys & Girls HS is now accepting applications for youth aged 10-16.

The NYPD's Summer Youth Police Academy at Boys & Girls HS is now accepting applications for 150 kids to join them this summer for six weeks mentoring, physical activity, recreation and more.  

The Summer Youth Police Academy is FREE for all NYC kids between the ages of 10 and 16 and will operate out of Boys and Girls High School for six weeks this July and August. 

Participants will learn what it's like to be a police officer, learn basic military drills, go on weekly trips, etc. 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the DOE school breakfast and lunch program. 

Applications are available at the 81st Precinct, 30 Ralph at Quincy Street or download the application here (please try to print a double-sided one page to reduce risk of the pages being lost) and must be MAILED.
