VIDEO: Organic Fresh Produce on Malcolm X Boulevard

Every Saturday through October 27, the Brooklyn Rescue Mission will host the Malcolm X Boulevard Farmer's Market

On Saturday, Bed-Stuy Patch had the chance to check out the Malcolm X Boulevard Farmers Market, located at Malcolm X Blvd. between Marion and Chauncey streets.

The weekly organic food meet-up of community farmers -- run by the Brooklyn Rescue Mission, owners of the Bed-Stuy Farm -- launched on July 14, and will continue throughout the summer and part of fall, until October 27.

Consequently, this weekend's market was also the same day as the Bed-Styles festival showcasing the businesses along the burgeoning boulevard. There was music, dancing, fresh fruits, veggies and fresh-baked bread.
