Our Kids and The Knockout - so called "game"

I recently went to a community meeting in Crown Heights about violence. This meeting was organized by S.O.S., save our streets Crown Heights. I heard many concerns and potential solutions for violence in our homes, street, community, and world. Our kids are punching innocent victims with one punch to see if they can "knock them out" . This practice is repulsive for any person who desires to live in a civilized, healthy society. Our organization is presenting part of the solution and we ask for and need your help. We have a volunteer community based poetry organization Green Earth Poets Cafe, our program "Our kids are slamming",  teaches slam or competitive poetry skills to kids in our community. We are not producing better poets but people. This programs gives our kids a better and much needed way to express anger, loss and fear , please see attached CNN link.
