The Free Legal Clinic is a 40-foot long mobile office space, staffed by New York State attorneys and court clerks, that can travel into each borough and provide free legal consultations to those in need. Legal counseling will be offered in the areas of domestic violence, child custody and visitation, consumer debts (including bankruptcy/foreclosures) landlord/tenant issues, divorces, and “U Visas” (for immigrant victims of domestic violence).
On Wednesday April 4, 2012 the Free Legal Clinic will be stationed at the Upper Room Baptist Church, if you need a free legal consultation please contact Deirdre Williams immediately to schedule an appointment. Please call 347-458-7001 to schedule an appointment for that day. Consultations will be approximately 30 minutes long.
