Community Update

Said to me by the owner, Abdul, as I came in to exchange an item I had bought:
"This is a professional store. If you want to return things, go to Home Depot!. I don't have time for this sh*t"

This is not the 1st time that Abdul has publicly berated someone at his counter for making an exchange or refund. I've heard him say it to others & he's semi-joked with me that way in the past. People accept a certain amount of bad attitude from Abdul, who clearly has been in the neighborhood since the demographic was much different. Abdul is used to a community that allowed him to speak and behave as disrespectfully as he likes.

Do yourself a favor & take the owner's advice. Go to Home Depot where you're not going to be disrespected for making a return or exchange. Leave this place to the old-time contractors who don't mind being spoken to disrespectfully.
