The Musical Circle At Freebrook!

THE MUSICAL CIRCLE

Director- Quincy Adams

Research shows us that an education in music stimulates accelerated neural activity in the brain, builds mathematical reasoning, and encourages literacy in children. The Musical Circle is uniquely designed to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers' expression and enjoyment of music and movement. Caregivers and children will have fun engaging in a variety of creative, musical and movement activities. Participants will be encouraged to sing, dance and move to the rhythms of a diverse collection of children's songs supported by musical instruments and movement props.

Quincy Adams has been facilitating Music and Movement classes with parents and young children for over six years. Quincy began as an Early Childhood Educator/ Teacher, working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers in classroom settings. Soon after, he discovered his wonderful gift for singing and making music with the little ones. Since this wonderful discovery, he has been facilitating music and movement classes in a variety of community settings including libraries, community centers, schools as well as birthday parties. Quincy is a  Licensed Master Social Worker with a Masters Degree in Science Education. He is well known for bringing tremendous energy and musical creativity to his classes, which are enjoyed by both children and adults.
