The First Step - Passions, Gifts, Personal Style, Goals - Part II

Youth On FYRE (YOF) is a newly formed nonprofit organization whose focus is the area of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and whose concern is to reduce the cycle of poverty, and          increase opportunities for success in this community. To pilot the program, YOF in     collaboration with Talk It Up  [a 501(c)(3)organization], will provide a workshop series for youth and young adults and their parents, caregivers, or other invested adults to help them to  discover their passions, gifts, and personal styles. Once these things are identified they will be given the tools to help set appropriate goals and realize them. These topics are all an important part of the healthy development of both youths and adults. The collaborative effort of the two organizations is directly aligned with YOF’s mission to provide programs and services through partnership and collaboration.

The commitment is one (1) youth or young adult and one (1) parent, caregiver, or invested adult.
