Elgin Gallery is pleased to present Soft Substitutes/Heavy Thinking, featuring painters Rick Briggs, Jessica Weiss, Daniel John Gadd, and installation artist Jason Gandy. The figurative works chosen for Soft Substitutes/Heavy Thinking are manifestations of personal atmospheres. Using individualized formal techniques, the artists have created sensibilities in which their surroundings are actively engaging with time and its visual environment.
