Community Corner

New York Restoration Project: Arts in the Gardens

On Saturdays throughout the month of September, NYRP and Indie Ballet Collaborative are partnering to bring unique programming to two of NYRP’s Brooklyn Community Gardens, as part of commitment to activating outdoor spaces and encouraging community engagement. Two of NYRP’s gardens will host free, interactive performance-experiences by the Indie-Ballet Collaborative, an NYC-based dance company aimed to create a synergetic relationship between dance and other art forms. The dance company, founded by choreographer Ariel Asch, will engage the community in fun, family-friendly sessions that marry various forms of movement, including yoga, creative dance, and improvisation, with musical performances by local musicians.

*Please note: Outdoor events are subject to change. Please check www.nyrp.org/calendar for up-to-date changes.
