PANTHER BABY AUTHOR DR. JAMAL JOSEPH EXPLORES BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS IN AMERICA AT MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE ON FEBRUARY 27


Columbia University Professor and author of Panther Baby Dr. Jamal Joseph will offer his insights on the impact of Black Radical Tradition in shaping black consciousness in America on Wednesday, February 27th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Medgar Evers College, Edison O. Jackson Auditoriun, 1638 Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn.  Joseph will share his interpretations of how this tradition affected the activism and self-identity of African Americans. A book signing will follow.


The event is free and open to the public. Additional activities and programs will take place throughout the month including lecture, performances, film screenings and discussions.
