Fantasy Fitness Hosts Annual Halloween PUMP-kin Workout to Raise Money for Juvenile

Diabetes Research

Brooklyn-based fitness company, Fantasy Fitness, is hosting its 1st Freaky Fat Loss Workout to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes

Research Foundation (JDRF). This Halloween BOOOOO Camp workout will have participants sweat and scream in a

fat-burning circuit of exercises using pumpkins. Participants also have the

option to wear a fun costume to the event. You'll also have the opportunity to meet with a representative from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to discuss how you can become a part of the fight against diabetes!

The workout will be 40 minutes long and is designed so that both novice and advanced participants can workout together and be challenged at their current fitness level. The Freaky Fat Loss event will be held on Friday, Oct. 18th at 6:30 PM at The Brooklyn Stuy Dome located at 312 Kosciuszko St. Brooklyn, NY 11221. The event is open to the public, families are welcome, and tickets to the event cost $10 for adults and $5 for children. Participants must bring their own pumpkin to the workout.

We all know someone that suffers with diabetes, and the devastating consequences that come with this. I too have people very close and dear to me that suffer from diabetes.  Let's show our support to those that have it, and do our part to prevent others from getting it in the future.
