BRIDGE STREET DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO HOST A HOME RESOURCE EXPO, SHOWCASING AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPTIONS FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE HOME OWNERS

Brooklyn, NY – May 21, 2014 --- Bridge Street Development Corporation (BSDC), a community development corporation located in Bedford-Stuyvesant will host its 5th annual Fresh Start Home Resource Expo on Saturday, June 14th from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Held in partnership with Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the event will be held at Restoration Plaza, at 1368 Fulton Street. A full service expo for both homeowners and renters, the event will provide a wealth of information and resources including information on purchasing your first home, affordable housing options, credit repair, wealth building and budgeting, options for preventing home loss to foreclosure, energy saving tips for your home, and more. Bridge Street, Restoration’s Single Stop team, Habitat for Humanity NYC, Neighborhood Housing Services of Bedford-Stuyvesant, and more than 30 nonprofits, government agencies, and housing resource providers will be on hand to provide attendees with advice, information, and opportunities to register for free services.

 

Attendees will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes throughout the day and individuals who pre-register via www.bsdcorp.org/expo will be entered into a grand raffle to be drawn during the event for a chance to win an iPad.
