Weekend Traffic Advisory

NYPD announces street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of October 27 - 28

The New York City Police Department announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of October 27 and 28.  Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

 

ONE TUBE AT QUEENS MIDTOWN TUNNEL CLOSED THIS WEEKEND

Two-way traffic in remaining tube

The Queens Midtown Tunnel tube leading into Manhattan will be closed to traffic beginning at 2100 Fri, Oct 26th through 0200 Mon, Oct 29th for necessary construction and rehab work.

Two-way traffic operation will be in effect in the remaining tube for cars and NYCT Busses only.  Commercial traffic must use alternate routes while two-way traffic operations are in effect.

Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use either the RFK Bridge or the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel as an alternate.  Signs will be posted and traffic agents will be on hand to direct motorists.

St. Marks Avenue between 6th Avenue and Flatbush Avenue

6th Avenue between St. Marks and Flatbush Avenue

The above streets will be closed for this event
