VIDEO: Lovey's Loving 'Love and Hip Hop'

Former reality show star's Bed-Stuy boutique is featured on season 2 premier of VH1's "Love and Hip Hop"

What happens when a former reality show star is featured on another reality show?

Does that make the reality more real, or does “the real” cancel itself out altogether?

Well, for Bed-Stuy resident and former reality television star Tionna Smalls whose accessories boutique Lovey’s was featured on VH1’s season-2 premier of the wildly popular reality show “Love and Hip Hop” last night, the excitement, the support and the success definitely was real.

Smalls held a neighborhood viewing party Monday night for the episode, complete with wine, hors d’oeuvres and about 50 giddy women, all packed into her tiny, pink shop to catch several scenes of Lovey’s in the season debut.

You might remember Smalls from the VH1 reality show, "What Chilli Wants," where Smalls played relationship expert to singer Chili of the 90's, all-girl, hip hop group, TLC.

Smalls launched Lovey's, located at 377 Marcus Garvey Boulevard, between Hancock Street and Jefferson Avenue, last December. The shop carries a wide range of high-end and affordable jewelry, handbags, gifts and other accessories.

So was Brooklyn in the house? Without a doubt.

And they certainly kept it real.
