Update: Construction Along Nostrand Avenue

Construction update for the week of April 8 - April 12

The Nostrand Avenue Construction Project, which started late summer 2012, is a massive overhaul of Nostrand Ave led by the City's Department of Design and Construction (DDC).

If you are a resident living in the northwestern end of Bed-Stuy off of Nostrand Avenue, near Kosciuszko Street, Lafayette Avenue, Clifton Place or Greene Ave., then undoubtedly you've seen the heavy construction underway.

Parking is prohibited and traffic has slowed heavily in those sections, as workers have opened the street up to pull out old pipes and begin laying water and sewer infrastructure.
