TV Spotting: Jean Alerte on ABC

Philanthropist, author and owner of Bedford-Stuyvesant's favorite yogurt shop, Brooklyn Swirl, Jean Alerte will be a guest on ABC Ch.7 show "Here and Now."

With the success of Alerte's first book, “Do Right, Do Good”, he has partnered with the founder of Beyond the Boroughs National Scholarship Fund, Tutan Reyes, to help administer awards of up to $2,000 per year, renewable over four years to deserving students currently in college or high school seniors.  

Alerte will share his story with Sandra Bookman, the host of  Here and Now, a show dedicated to covering the latest issues, news stories and trends impacting the local black community.
