VIDEO: Behind the Scenes of 'Stars of New York Dance'

On Friday, November 18, 7:00pm at the Kumble Theatre for Performing Arts, the "Stars of New York Dance" will return for its second year.

Errol Louis, political anchor and host of “Inside City Hall” on NY 1 News, will host and Susan L. Taylor, editor-in-chief emeritus of Essence Magazine and founder of National CARES Mentoring Movement (NCMM), will be honored.

Author and cultural critic Michael Eric Dyson will dance in tribute to Susan L. Taylor with Blues and R&B vocalist Lady Laura.

Six couples are paired for the competition: an active community leader or local "star," with a veteran dancer, also from the community.
