Saturday: Fresh Start Home Resource Expo With WWRL Radio Host Mark Riley

WHAT: FRESH START HOME RESOURCE EXPOWITH WWRL RADIO HOST MARK RILEY-- The Fresh Start Home Resource Expo, presented by Bridge Street Development Corporation (BSDC), will feature local organizations that help homeowners and renters learn how to buy your first home, maintain their current homes or reduce energy costs.  The event will also feature organizations that provide free counseling on wealth building, budgeting, credit repair, and foreclosure prevention.

WHEN: Saturday, June 15, 2013, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

WHERE: Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street (Under the Tent by Herkimer Street), Brooklyn, NY

Attendees will be able to partake in free educational workshops on various topics, including the first-time home buying process, foreclosure prevention, and the importance of insurance.  In addition, Home Depot will provide information on how to fix up your home through DIY home repairs.  Food vendors from the area will have stations with products available for purchase.

Participants will include, Chase Homeownership, HSBC, NYC Dept. of HPD, National Grid, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Municipal Credit Union, Bedford Stuyvesant Real Estate Board and many more.
