Police Seeking Two Women Wanted for Attempted Robbery

The suspects assaulted a 49-year-old woman on Halsey Street

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating two women who are wanted in connection with an attempted robbery Friday night on Halsey Street in Bed-Stuy.

According to police reports, on Friday, June 28, at around 6:30 p.m. in front of 258 Halsey Street near the corner of Tompkins Avenue, two female suspects assaulted a 49-year-old woman by punching her and kicking her and trying to forcibly rob her of her possessions. The suspects then fled eastbound on Halsey Street.  

The first suspect is described as a black woman, 5 foot 4, around 200 pounds and wearing black shorts and a brown t-shirt. The second suspect is described as black woman, 5 foot 6, weighing around 135 pounds and wearing blue jeans and a pink tank top.
