The price of gas seems to have taken a significant dip again this week, dropping 8 cents, from $3.93 per regular gallon of gas to $3.85.

This should be great news, during a national economic slump that has placed a tight squeeze on everyone's wallets. But even with the petroleum price reprieve, one local patron filling up at the pump seemed unfazed by the drop:

"It's been such a see-saw with the price of gas, you almost become desensitized with it dropping, because you know it's probably going to go back up," he said. "You don't get too happy any more with it dropping, because it doesn't feel like a trend any more it's like it's just momentary."

There's only one other gas station in the Bed-Stuy area with a lower gas price, $3.82, at the Pride Gas Station on 732 Bedford Ave at Flushing Avenue.
