Regular gas drops another four cents this week

It looks like temperatures in New York City weren't the only things to plunge this week. Gas prices took another dip as well, down four cents, from $3.67 to $3.63.

The current price of $3.63 is the lowest recorded price since we first started our patrol on April 27, 2011, when the price of gas was a whopping $4.09.

One patron at the pump said she was happy with the lower prices -- through chattering teeth.

"I'm satisfied to see the prices are beginning to regulate, but now I'm upset with this weather," she said laughing, rushing to finish pumping so she could get back into her vehicle. "If it's not one thing in New York City, it's another, and right now, it's cold out here!"

The cheapest gas prices in the Bed-Stuy area can be found at GP Petro, located at 1990 Atlantic Ave and Ralph Ave, where the price of regular gas is $3.59. At the Hess/Fuze station at 801 Bedford Ave and Park Ave, the price of regular gas is $3.61.
