Petro Patrol

The price of gas drops 6 cents this week

Gas prices take a slight dip this week, from $3.99 to $3.93, 6 cents total.

But what does that mean? Probably nothing. Over the past four months since the beginning of our petro patrol, the price of regular gas has fluctuated up and down more than an elevator with 100 floors.

The cheapest prices in and around Brooklyn for a gallon of regular gas can be found at the GP Petro on 1990 Atlantic Ave & Ralph Avenue ($3.81) and the Hess station on 1885 at Atlantic and Ralph Aenues ($3.85).

Interestingly, although gas has dropped in the past week, the price of gas at those stations with the lowest prices has overall increased.
