It's never too early to start getting spiffed up for summer. Here's our roundup of places to help you look and feel your best.
This luxurious spa in the not-so-luxurious stretch of Park Avenue near the Navy Yard offers “health and hedonism on a regular basis.” Body By Brooklyn features all the standard spa services, like massages, pools, steam rooms, saunas, various beauty treatments, and, of course, a bar. A full day at the spa costs $45.

This spa on Fulton Street doesn’t offer the same luxury as Body By Brooklyn, but it does offer many of the same services. Facials, massages, waxing, manicures, pedicures — even “aqua detoxing” — it’s all available at Mirai.

Shanghai Stress Free
This spa offers Chinese massage that uses acupressure techniques which they say will relieve pain, depression and stress. They offer your choice of chair or table massages, as well as hot-stone therapy. A 20-minute massage is $25, 30 minutes is $35 and an hour is $60. They also offer Chinese herbs, vitamins and do nutritional counseling. Walk-ins are welcomed.

This spa specializes in Japanese acupuncture, but they also offer a range of massage and acupressure services to relieve stress and free up energy. In addition, they offer nutritional counseling, hot-stone or magnet therapy, guasha, detox celluite therapy and private Oi Gong lessons. An initial acupuncture treatment is $105 with $85 for return visits. Massage costs $50 for 30 minutes or $90 for an hour.

Le Chateau de Frenche Day Spa and Private Tea Room
This elegant spa offers a series of packages for individuals and couples including the "Couples Re-Connect Package" for $270, which includes side-by-side body scrubs and aromatherapy massages followed by a 30-minute nap. For individuals there's the "Petit Frenche Package" for $70, which includes a foot bath, a 30-minute aromatherapy facial and a French manicure. The spa also offers additional services
including waxing, manicures and pedicures.
