NYPD to Hold Youth Summit in Bed-Stuy

NYPD Juvenile Justice Division and the area's youth will discuss community-police relations, problems and solutions

On Monday, July 2, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Brooklyn North, the Juvenile Justice Division of the NYPD and the 81st Police Precinct will hold a Youth Summit, a sit-down meeting with area youth and the local precinct to discuss ways for improving community/police relations.

The event will be held at Woodhull Hospital, 760 Broadway, at the intersection of Bed-Stuy, Bushwick and Williamsburg.

The Youth Summit is being held to educate the community regarding youth crews/trends in their respective neighborhoods. Community leaders, representatives of community based organizations that deal with youth, teachers, administrators, clergy, and concerned citizens are all invited to attend.
