MTA Alert: Weekend Planned Service Changes

Weekend service changes to the A, C, G, M and J Trains

If you're planning to travel out of the neighborhood this weekend using the MTA, please note the following weekend service changes to train lines running through Bedford-Stuyvesant.

A Train

Beginning Friday, July 5 until Monday, July 8 at 11:45 p.m., Brooklyn-bound A trains run local from 59 St to W 4 St, then are rerouted via the F to Jay St-MetroTech.

C Train
Beginning Saturday, July 6, at 6:30 a.m., until Sunday, July 7 at 12 midnight, Brooklyn-bound C trains are rerouted via the F from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech.

G Train
Beginning Friday, July 5 at 11:45 p.m., until Mon, July 8, at 5:00 a.m., there will be no G trains between Court Sq and Nassau Av.
• G trains operate between Nassau Av and Church Av.
• Free shuttle buses provide alternate service on two routes:
1. Via Manhattan Av between Nassau Av G station and Court Sq.
2. Via McGuinness Blvd between Lorimer St L station and Court Sq.
• Transfer between G trains and shuttle buses at Nassau Av.
• Transfer between L trains and shuttle buses at Lorimer St.
• Transfer between E and 7 trains and shuttle buses at Court Sq.

J Train
From Saturday, July 6, at 3:45 a.m. until Sunday, July 7 at 10:00 p.m., Jamaica Center-bound J trains run express from Myrtle Av to Broadway Junction.

M Train*
Beginning Friday, July 5 at 11:45 p.m., until Mon, July 8, at 5:00 a.m., M service is suspended.
• Free shuttle buses operate between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av, making all station stops.

Also, all times until Late August 2013:
M trains skip Central Av in both directions.
• Use the Knickerbocker Av M, Myrtle Av J, M, and Z or Kosciuszko St J station.
• Use the B54 bus for connections between Central Av and Knickerbocker Av, where M
service is available, Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs, where L and M service is available, or Myrtle Av, where J, M, and Z service is available. (Z service operates weekday rush hours only.)

*This service change affects one or more ADA accessible stations. Please call 511 for help with planning your trip.
