MTA Alert: Weekend Planned Service Changes

Weekend changes to the A, C, G, J and M lines

If you're planning to take the subway this weekend, first check out these changes to the MTA lines that run through Bedford-Stuyvesant:

A Train*
All times until further notice, no A trains between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and the Rockaways.

  • H shuttle trains and free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
  • Free shuttle buses operate nonstop between Howard Beach and Far Rockaway-Mott Av.
  • Free H shuttle trains operate between Far Rockaway-Mott Av and Beach 90 St.
  • A trains operate between 207 St and Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach.
Hours of Operation:
From Far Rockaway-Mott Av to Beach 90 St: 4 AM - 12 midnight.
From Beach 90 St to Far Rockaway-Mott Av: 4:30 AM - 12:30 AM.

NIGHTS
11:45 PM to 6:30 AM, Fri to Sun, May 17 - 19
11:45 PM Sun to 5 AM Mon, May 19 - 20
Brooklyn-bound A trains run express from 59 St to Canal St.

C Train*
11:45 PM to 6:30 AM, Fri to Sun, May 17 - 19
11:45 PM Sun to 5 AM Mon, May 19 - 20
Manhattan-bound A trains run express from Broadway Junction to Utica Av.

6:30 AM to 11 PM, Sat and Sun, May 18 - 19
Brooklyn-bound C trains run express from 59 St to Canal St, and from Broadway Junction to Utica Av

J Train
3:45 AM Sat to 10 PM Sun, May 18 - 19, Jamaica Center-bound J trains run express from Myrtle Av to Broadway Junction.

M Train*
11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, May 17 - 20, M service is suspended.
Free shuttle buses operate between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av, making all station stops. Allow additional travel time.

G Train
11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, May 17 - 20, Queens-bound G trains skip Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park, and 4 Av-9 St.

Also, 12:01 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon, May 18 - 20, the last stop for some G trains headed toward Court Sq is Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
• To continue your trip, transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avs to a Court Sq-bound G.
Note: G trains run every 20 minutes between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs. 

*These service changes affect one or more ADA accessible stations. Please call 511 for help with planning your trip.
