MTA Alert: Weekend Planned Service Changes

If you have plans this weekend to travel through Bedford-Stuyvesant on one of its subway lines, please read the below schedule of suspended and altered routes so that you can plan your trip accordingly:

A Train

WEEKEND

Beginning on Saturday, September 8, at 12:01 a.m. until Monday September 10, 5:00 a.m., 207 St-bound A trains are rerouted via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St, then run local to 59 St.

NIGHTS
Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, from 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., and on Monday, from 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., F trains replace A shuttle service between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd.

C Train

Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, from 6:30 a.m. to 12 midnight, there are no C trains between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Trains are rerouted via the F between W 4 St and 2 Av, the last stop.

G Train

All times until Fall 2012
G trains skip Smith-9 Sts in both directions.

Beginning Friday, September 7 at 11:30 p.m., until Monday, September 10, at 5:00 a.m., no G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av.
• Free shuttle buses provide alternate service via Jay St-MetroTech
• Take the A or F train for connecting service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Jay St-MetroTech.
G trains operate in two sections:
1. Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
2. Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts, every 20 minutes.
• To continue your trip, transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avs.

J Train

Beginning Saturday, September 8, at 4:00 a.m. until Sunday September 9, at 10:00 p.m., no J trains between Crescent St and Jamaica Center - Free shuttle buses and E trains provide alternate service via Jamaica-Van Wyck.

• Trains run between Chambers St and Crescent St.
• Free shuttle buses operate between Crescent St and 121 St, and connect with the E
at Jamaica-Van Wyck, where service to/from Sutphin Blvd and Jamaica Center is available.

M Train*

Beginning on Saturday, September 8, at 12:01 a.m., until Saturday, Monday, September 10, at 5:00 a.m., M service is suspended.
•Free shuttle buses operate between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av, making all station stops.
