MTA Alert: Weekend and Holiday Planned Service Changes

If you plan on taking the subway to get around this holiday weekend, first check out the following route changes of MTA lines running out of Bedford-Stuyvesant, to plan your trip accordingly. There will be changes to the G, J and M lines. Also note, the M train will be suspended most of the holiday weekend.

G Train

All times until Fall 2012, the G trains skip Smith-9 Sts in both directions.

J Train*

Beginning at 4:00am Saturday, until 10:00pm Monday, May 26 – 28, Manhattan-bound J trains skip Flushing Av, Lorimer St, and Hewes St.

MTA UPDATE 5/25 8:00pm: The following weekend planned service change is CANCELED:“Manhattan-bound J trains skip Flushing Av, Lorimer St, and Hewes St”. Change was originally scheduled for: 4 AM Sat to 10 PM Mon, May 26 – 28

M Train*

Beginning at 4:00am Saturday, until 10:00pm Monday, May 26 – 28, M service is suspended. Free shuttle buses operate between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av, making all station stops.
