MTA Alert: Weekday and Weeknight Planned Service Changes

Planned service changes for the A, G, J and M lines

Bed-Stuy residents, if you plan on taking the subway this week, check out the following important service changes on MTA lines that run through the neighborhood. Read carefully to make sure you are prepared, because the changes from last week are different this week affecting the same lines. Note: A train is running express late-night this week!

The A Line:

NIGHTS
12:01 AM to 5 AM, Tue to Fri, Dec 13 – 16
A service operates in two sections:
1. Between 207 St and 168 St, every 30 minutes.
2. Between 168 St and Lefferts Blvd/Far Rockaway.
● To continue your trip, transfer at 168 St.
NIGHTS
12:01 AM to 5 AM, Tue to Fri, Dec 13 – 16
Brooklyn-bound trains run via the F from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech

The G Line :

All times until Spring 2012, G trains skip Smith-9 Sts in both directions

Church Av-bound G trains skip 15 St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Pkwy

The J Line:

Beginning Wednesday, December 14, through Friday, December 16, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Jamaica Center-bound J trains run express from Marcy Av to Myrtle Av

The M Line*:

Beginning Wednesday, December 14, through Friday, December 16, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Metropolitan Av-bound M trains run express from Marcy Av to Myrtle Av

NIGHTS
Monday through Thursday, December 5 - 8, M trains will be rerouted to the F between 47-50 Sts and 36 St, Queens in both directions

Monday through Thursday, December 12 - 15, from 10:00pm - 12:00 midnight, M trains rerouted to the F between 47-50 Sts and 36 St, Queens in both directions
