Mos Def Launches New Fragrance
Bed-Stuy native Mos Def has founded Fellowship Mission and is releasing a fragrance.
Bed-Stuy native Yasiin Bey, a.k.a. Mos Def, is branching out past music and acting with his new design collective, Fellowship Mission, according to High Snobiety.
Their first product is Harun -No.7-, a fragrance oil with Indian attar extract, bottled right here in Brooklyn, says the blog.
Union, in Los Angeles, will be the first shop to carry the $65 fragrance, but according to their website, it’s currently unavailable.

Last February, , lauding him as the “pride of Bed-Stuy.” The actor and emcee grew up in the Roosevelt Houses on Dekalb and Lewis Ave. This October a yearly festival aimed at celebrating the neighborhood’s culture and history.
