Karen's Weekly Words of Wisdom: Uncovering Your Natural Gift

As you go about your daily life, continue to seek instruction about your gift

Have you ever imparted words of wisdom to someone about an issue or topic upon which you are not well-versed?

Is there an area of interest that you have and can share in-depth information about but you never formally studied?

Do you possess naturally inherent skills that required no training, just a natural ability to execute it?

That is your natural gift.

Notwithstanding this gift, some people misconstrue your wisdom or it may fall on deaf ears. Some people don't accept it because they allow their personal perception of you to take precedence, and this makes them judgmental.

Take some time to meditate on who you are, discover what your gift is and begin figuring out how you can work with it.

The act of meditating doesn't have to be in the lotus position of stillness, it can be done while you are jogging, swimming or even walking the dog. Most of these activities require mental clarity, methodical breathing and at the end, a cool down method. It is during cool down time that you actually go into a state of meditation.

Ask the following question:

What is your role in the universe?

What is your gift?

What are you supposed to do with this gift?

How should you use use the gift?

As you go about your daily life, continue to seek instruction about your gift. Sometimes it comes in the form of a stranger needing your help or a friend seeking your personal opinion.

Assess the situation so that you can act and/or respond accordingly. And, don’t worry about those who judge or the naysayers!
