Who will you be checking for at the Barclay's Center?

Love it or hate, the Barclay's Center is here to stay.

And to make it a destination that is attractive to Brooklynites with diverse music tastes and a range in disposable incomes, scheduled performances will include pop, folk, hip hop and rock acts, with ticket prices ranging from $30 to $700.

For example, ticket prices for Jay-Z's September 28-30 concerts, which go on sale this Friday, start at $29.50 and go up as high as $254.50. He says he priced them low as a nod to his hometown borough, and he wanted to make sure everyone who wanted to see the show could afford to.

However, stage area seats for Barbra Streisand’s Oct. 11 and Oct. 13 shows run as high as $716.65 – and on secondary markets like StubHub people were asking as much as $34,000, according to the New York Post.

Other scheduled acts include , , Leonard Cohen and Rush.
