This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous! Celebrate it with a few fun outings!

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, April 6, 5:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., The Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Parkway, Bklyn, NY

WHY GO: At the Brooklyn Museum's Target First Saturdays, thousands of visitors enjoy free programs of art and entertainment each month. WHY GO: Featuring: vocalists Patsy Grant, Sheryl Renee, Dennis Day, Frank Senior, Rome Neal, Lawrence Anthony and Michael Overstreet. Miranda Di Perno, Natalie Robison; and musicians Patience Higgins (sax), Dmitry Gorodetsky (bass), Lafayette Harris Jr (piano)., Bruce Cox (drums), and Saul Rubin (guitar) Choqui Cantio (percussions). Followed by town Inspired Jam/Open Mic. Also Complimentary Banana Puddin' For All!!!

WHAT: The Brooklyn Flea Grand Re-Opening

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, April 6, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. the Bishop Loughlin High School yard, 357 Claremont Ave, Bklyn

WHY GO: The Flea's Fort Greene flagship location features 150 vendors every Saturday from April through November. The 40,000-square-foot schoolyard at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is part vintage bazaar, part hipster hang, part old-fashioned town square, and part food bonanza

WHAT: Jazz featuring Kym Hampton

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, April 6, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight, The Cornegy Brownstone, 635 Putnam Ave, Bklyn

WHY GO: Come enjoy a sophisticated evening of sounds with The Committee to Elect Robert E. Cornegy, Jr. It will be a night infused with thrilling entertainment, fabulous food, exotic cocktails, and marvelous music. The evening features the vocal stylings of Kym Hampton with an open mic to follow

WHAT: Brer Rabbit Day Community Celebration

WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, April 7, 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., Freebrook Spaces, 375 Stuyvesant Ave (corner of Decatur), Bklyn

WHY GO: A lively gathering for all ages complete with Brer Rabbit Day activities, traditions, story-telling, food, and music!
