WHY GO: A celebration of music for kids, babies & the whole family, Amelia Robinson & her electric ukulele present a symphony of musical guests in the Mil's Trills Philharmonic premiere! Come & meet the instruments of the orchestra – French horn, flute, cello, upright bass, violin, trumpet & more - plus special guest appearances including Puppetry Arts, face painters, circus performers, and a recital by parents/graduates of the Mil's Trills Fall 2011 Ukulele Workshop.

WHAT: Hide/Seek Symposium: Sexuality and the Museum

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, January 28, 11:00 a.m., 200 Eastern Parkway

WHY GO: This day-long, two-part symposium at Brooklyn Museum is on themes and issues surrounding their HIDE/SEEK exhibition. The panels will explore the complex roles, responsibilities, challenges, and triumphs that museums and cultural institutions have faced in presenting and representing sexuality and queerness in art. It will also look at the history of the blacklist against queerness in museums and ask the question, "Where do we go from here?"
