WHY GO: Leave it to Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter:, already approaching legendary status as the brains behind the “Mister Saturday Night” and “Dog & Pony” parties, they have now decided that Halloween must be done in similar original fashion by passing on ghastly ghoulies and instead turning their ‘Ween dance into a space jam. Holing up in 12-turn-13, the room becomes “Apollo 12-turn-13” as all are asked to dress in extraterrestrial fashion—which could mean anything from Buck Rodgers to Barbarella to Boba Fett (although knowing this party’s usual style, make it a “sexy” Boba Fett). The rocket launches at 10 p.m. $15 before midnight with RSVP, $20 at the door—and if you need further inspiration to take your costume to where no man has gone before, all astro outfits score a free drink.

HOW MUCH: $15 before midnight with RSVP, $20 at the door.
