WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, October 13, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street (between Brooklyn & New York Avenues), Bklyn

WHY GO: Join the Coalition for the Improvement of Bedford-Stuyvesant in partnership with the Brooklyn Community Foundation for a free, fun-filled educational event focusing on Bedford-Stuyvesant and healthy eating. Food and Family Day brings together local residents, food justice advocates, urban farmers and gardeners, local businesses, educators and community organizations to examine wellness and access to healthy foods in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
