WHY GO: Join us for 90 riveting minutes of sheer entertainment as artist and performer Iyaba Ibo Mandingo, manages to sing, to dance, and to act in a variety of ages and accents, all the while telling his acclaimed spoken-word poetry.  This one-man show, "unFRAMED: A Man in Progress," will captivate you from the very first nanosecond, providing insight into the life of an immigrant artist and the trials and tribulations of his family and friends.

WHAT: “Chicago Sun Times” Party at Free Candy

WHY GO: Come pay homage to the Chicago-born and bred Don Cornelius (R.I.P.) and all Chicago music artists as Twilight Tone spins a variety of music that has been created and inspired by CHICaGO artists and musicians inspiring you to DANCE! Expect to hear Chaka Khan, Lil Louis, Common, Sun-Ra, Minnie Ripperton, Peven Everett, Peter Brown, Ministry, R. Kelly, and many, many more from this GREAT city.

WHY GO: Music, 5–7 p.m. Game Rebellion plays metal, punk, and hip-hop. · Discussion, 6 p.m. Independent curator Shantrelle P. Lewis discusses her exhibition Dandy Lion: A Re(de)fined Black Masculine Identity. WHAT: The Bed-Stuy Patch Pub Crawl

WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, February 5, 6:00 pm (game time!), Patch’s Pick of bars around Bed-Stuy

WHY GO: With the Bed-Stuy Patch Pub Crawl, we want you to choose one of our five “Patch Picks” of places to watch the Giants beat the New England Patriots during the Super Bowl. Except we’re doing something a little different: You will stay put, nice and snug at one of the five bars, and we’ll do the crawling. We’ll be visiting, Brooklyn Beso Restaurant and Bar, Applebees, Rustik Tavern, Therapy Wine Bar and Brooklyn Tap House. Look out for us, because we will show up at some point during the game with plenty of free giveaways, Patch swag, t-shirts, thermoses, bags, etc. We’ll be tweeting updates on the score, the general vibe at each spot, pics of revelers celebrating and hints of where we’re heading next!
