Free Cancer Screenings for Uninsured Brooklyn Residents

The Central Brooklyn Cancer Services Program is offering free cancer screenings for uninsured Brooklyn residents.
All you have to do is call the toll-free number, and they will either connect you with a partnering center close to your residence or you can choose a center of your preference.
In Bed-Stuy, the closest center may be the Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center, located at 1413 Fulton Street.

The screenings are available for women age 40 or older. At the screening, they can receive:
• Clinical Breast Exam (CBE)
• Pap Test
• Mammogram
Men and women 50 or older can receive:
• Take-Home Colon Cancer Test (FIT Kit)
