Four Shot, One Dead at Marcy Houses
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting at Marcy Houses that left four people injured and one dead.
According to police, on Saturday, July 6, at around 6:40 p.m., police were called to 472 Marcy Avenue following reports of a shootout.
Police reported four victims of the multiple shooting, including an 18-year-old man identified as Mario Lopez, who died from gunshot wounds to his chest.

The three other victims included a 13-year-old boy who was shot in the neck who reamins in critical condition; and a 14-year-old boy who was shot in the leg and a 15-year-old boy who was shot in the leg, both of whom remain in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
