Centers will reopen the next day, Tuesday.
To find a center closest to their location, people can text "DRC" and their ZIP code to 4FEMA or 43362, or they can visit disasterassistance.gov.
Hurricane Sandy survivors have until Jan. 28 to register for Federal disaster assistance.
Disaster Recovery Centers typically provide: guidance regarding disaster recovery; clarification of any written correspondence received; housing assistance and rental resource information; and the status of an application being processsed by FEMA.
