Creating Your Legacy

This is the time to create a path for others to follow

We all strive to be the keeper of the flame when it comes to our family or company's legacy. This year, make the decision to either build on an existing family legacy or create your own.

Do some research to asses where you fit in the family line and how you can build on it and add your spot. This is the time to create a path for others to follow.

If you are on track to make waves and take your company/group to the top, focus on making that happen in 2013. You should align yourself with those who have left a mark and those who are knowledgeable in your field.

Ask questions and be open to building on what is already in place. Your legacy can be created as a continued flame or a spark in the new year.
Let's roll in 2013 and Create Your Legacy.

Til your cup runs over,

We are on the same page. My mom passed in May 2012 and both her and my dad were community activists/volunteers in bed-stuy. I wanted their legacy to not only continue with me, but to also share this idea with other women whose mothers were deceased and help each other move forward with community projects inspired by our mothers. Collectively, we are restoring a community garden, establishing an ESL program, working with a youth group to provide college/career path resources, & providing HIV/AIDS awareness/education.
