Announcement: Imaging Ourselves

DIVAS for Social Justice is taking applications now for a free summer photography class for girls

Divas for Social Justice is holding a community orientation meeting for its four-week digital photography program for girls, ages 8-18 on Saturday, June 16, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Magnolia Tree Earth Center, 677 Lafayette Avenue.

Youth will be introduced to film and fine art photography, learn to use a Digital SLR Camera & Adobe Photoshop, participate in critical discussions of how women of color are portrayed by the media and more! Program starts July 1.
