Macon Library holds a "Support Our Shelves" Fundraising Party

"Support Our Shelves" Fundraiser Party. Come party with a purpose this Friday and help keep the shelves of Macon library full. With all of the funding cutbacks to New York City Public Libraries, it is taking a toll, not only the library's staff and hours of operation, but also on its most important commodity-- books.

On Friday, June 3, from 7:00pm - 10:00pm, party with a purpose for your local library. The Macon Branch is asking the community to come out and provide support to replenish the shelves and to maintain the strength, health and vitality of one of the community's most invaluable resources-- the library.
